LECTURER IN GEOGRAPHY (GIS
The School of Geography, Archaeology and Environmental Studies, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, invites applications from South African citizens from designated groups, for the full time continuous post of Lecturer in GIS and Remote Sensing. The post is to be filled in early 2012.
Ideally, we seek a scholar with PhD in Geography or a relevant field, and a publication, teaching and post-graduate supervision record. Promising candidates without a PhD may also be considered at Junior Lecturer level.
Responsibilities will include undergraduate as well as postgraduate teaching and supervision, research and publication, and service to the Geography Division, School of GAES and the University. All candidates will be given full consideration.
