About the role

The Food Security and Livelihoods Advisor will serve as a critical member of the Humanitarian and Emergency Response Department of Save the Children Australia in supporting the Humanitarian and Emergency Response strategy with a technical focus on Food Security and Livelihoods.

A core component of this role will be to provide surge support in both rapid and slow onset emergencies as well as leading on technical assessments, identification for program development, supporting national, country level and global advocacy and policy efforts serving as a spokesperson for Save the Children Australia. This position will also provide technical leadership and ensure quality programming and will identify areas for program learning and innovation.
