Admissions Coordinator and Governor Services Assistant ARK Schools

ARK Schools is a fast growing education charity seeking to establish an outstanding network of inner city academies. With eleven academies open, a further four secondary schools confirmed for this September 2012, a number of primary academies set to open and an expectation that we will double in size over the next five years – this is a unique opportunity to join a thriving organisation.

We are looking to recruit an Admissions Coordinator and Governor Services Assistant to oversee the smooth running of the student admissions process across the ARK Schools network and ensure the governance needs of ARK Schools are met.

This is an exciting opportunity; the successful candidate will play a central role in the management of the admissions process, with the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be highly organised and have good attention to detail
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Have experience in a range of administrative and data activities( in particular experience of minute taking is desirable)
  • Have knowledge of schools admissions procedures (desirable, not essential)

Salary: £23,000-£28,000 (plus 10% pension contribution or additional salary supplement)
