Assistant Manager Customer Services-SCM - Damco, Karachi, Pakistan

Area of responsibility:

  • Deliver on the SCM Strategy in Pakistan.
  • Deliver according to the financial and operational targets defined in the Business Plan and budget.

Essential job tasks:

· Translate budget to team budget

· Monitor team KPIs and take corrective action

· Benchmark against teams

· Team leadership

o Identify and develop talent

o Succession planning

o Lead by example

o Objectives and measurability

· Drive sales to shippers

o Customer visits / calls as per corporate guidelines

o Sales analysis

o Own SOW for individual shippers

o Monitor customer service and intimacy

o Recommendations on customer intimacy

· Verify adherence to the SOP

· Analyze potential productivity gains and verify with manager

o Roll out

· Drive revenue increase initiatives

· Team data quality

· Recommend actions on accounts receivable to branch manager

· FACT exposure in team

· Execute CSR initiatives

· Input to operational contingency planning

· Assist in new customer implementation

· Identify process improvement initiatives

· Drive roll out of rate adjustments

· Ensure KPIs are updated at all times and recognize best performing team members.
