Control, Compliance & Ethics Manager
To ensure the general control environment and recommendations are implemented in processes which improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization and to establish a system of continual improvement and monitoring.
Top Accountabilities
· <Ensure compliance is achieved in every process of the business.
· Drive the Control Assessment & Risk Management (CARM) process in a consistent and effective manner annually.
· Perform continuous audits within all functions of the organization ensuring controls are adhered to.
· Implement improvements based on conclusions from audits performed.
· Ensure issues rising from internal and external audits have mitigation plans and are implemented within agreed time limits.
· Report on control environment to senior management.
QualifIcations and Experience Required
· Experienced qualified accountant with practical business experience.
· Graduate calibre and/or membership of recognized professional accounting body or Degree level qualification in related field with relevant work experience.
· Minimum of 7 years post qualification experience with proven integrity
· Analytical, interpretative and decision-making skills.
· Sound IT knowledge in the use of outlook (Excel, visio, word and PowerPoint).
· Working knowledge in accounting package-SAP
Barriers to Success in Role
· Poor communication skills
· Poor relationship management skills or inability to build bridges effectively.
· Inability to separate business activities from personal relationships.
Flexible Working options
Job involves travel within Ghana and sometimes overseas
