HR Co-ordinator

Please note: This role is a fixed term contract from the end of February 2012 until the end of August 2012



Context/Scope

Diageo Baileys Global Supply serves the worldwide demand for Baileys Irish Cream. Baileys is the world’s tops selling liqueur brand and a Diageo global priority brands.


Purpose/Dimensions of the role


  • The role supports the HR Business Partners in the delivery of the business objectives.

  • Resourcing, Talent Development, Reward Management, HRIS data, Payroll

  • Policy and compliance administration

  • To provide generalist support to the employee population and the opportunity to acquire experience both through routine delivery and project work. Ability to understand HR policies, processes and practises and assist in embedding them in the organisation.

  • Responsible for deployment and embedding of HR initiatives on site including rollout of HR policies and procedures.

  • Ability to analyse and use data



Top Accountabilities


  • Providing support to the HRBP – during a period of organisational change.

  • Data & file management

  • Resourcing co-ordination & conducting interviews

  • Liaison with First point & payroll on individual employee issues.

  • Assisting with day to day employee issues - manager and employee enquiries, advise & guidance on policies & their application

  • Supporting the engagement agenda on site - supporting values survey action planning

  • Supporting the Manufacturing Excellence programme - Assist with planning, organising & facilitating training interventions

  • Support HRBP in annual HR processes e.g. P4G, reward cycle



Qualifications and experience required


  • Third level degree preferably with Business and HR

  • Minimum of one year’s administration experience within a HR environment.

  • May be part CIPD qualified or working towards same.

  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Word)



Knowledge & Experience

Experience of working within a HR environment and managing confidential data.

  • High level of integrity, able to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner.
