UTZ CERTIFIED is looking for a

Member Support Coordinator

with focus on Cocoa Program (temporary)

The Member and Program Support Team aims to facilitate the members of UTZ. They are the first point of contact for prospects and members (retailers, manufacturers and traders) for questions ranging from marketing and communications to certification. You work closely with the different departments within UTZ to support members to the maximum.

Our European cocoa and chocolate partners are your key focus. You will support them in the understanding and implementation of certification and traceability requirements. Being a creative and hands-on professional, you achieve results through effective relationship management. Your activities are broad and include, answering member queries, explaining the use of the member portal, explaining how the UTZ program can be implemented, supporting regional sales with presentations, coordinating and giving online workshops on UTZ and some client support in the market and at events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Relationship management and customer satisfaction of European cocoa and chocolate members (retailers, manufacturers and traders), either existing or prospects. You are back up support in coffee and tea members.
  • Provide information to clients on the implementation of certification and traceability requirements and make the first validity check. This is in close cooperation with the Standards and Certification Department.
  • Work together with the Marketing and Communications department to help approve new labels
  • Manage membership fees and monitor invoice, together with the Finance department
  • Manage the customer database
  • Continued role in any project teams currently held by coordinator

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree in International Business, Development Studies or related
  • 3 years of experience in account management, sales, client services and project management
  • Experience in food industry is a plus
  • Affinity with agricultural production, sustainability, cocoa are a plus
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and French essential and the ability to conduct business in German.
  • Highly organized, able to work under time pressure and handle multiple priorities
  • Service oriented, pragmatic, operational focus, self-starting and strong self-management skills
  • Strong eye for detail, yet able to see the bigger picture
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

UTZ CERTIFIED offers you a challenging position in a dynamic and international working environment, with entrepreneurial drive and an innovative approach. We can only consider candidates who have a work & residency permit for the Netherlands/EU. The contract preferably starts April 15, 2012 and is for 6 months.
