Senior Proposal Manager Deloitte

Deloitte has been providing services to the European Commission and other EU Institutions for more than a quarter of a century. Over that time, it has carried out work for the vast majority of the Commission's Directorates-General and services.

The international team based in our offices in Brussels, working with colleagues throughout the Deloitte organization across the Union and beyond, can meet the EU's need for:

• Technology advice and implementation.

To add critical support to further build our EU business we are looking for a:

EU SENIOR PROPOSAL MANAGER

Function
As a senior management role, you will drive the identification and the selection of valid opportunities for our organization. You will lead and coordinate the contacts with our eventual partners internally and externally. You will be the head of the bidding team and you will in that respect synchronize your team with the adapted technical experts selected for a specific call for tenders.

You will also advise on process efficiency and communication, to increase the quality of our proposals. You will define the winning strategy in collaboration with our top management.

Finally, you will ensure the implementation of our deliverable quality system.

Your profile

• You have several years' successful experience in answering large scale (multi-million euro) service proposals for EU institutions (Technical and Policy content);
• You have strong network of contacts within the main actors of the EU market
• You hold a relevant university degree in communication, journalism, marketing or ICT-related degree (subsequent experience as account manager will be necessary in this latter case);
• You demonstrate deep curiosity in the ICT consulting domain and are able to grasp the essence of all related content;
• You are highly organized and structured whilst demonstrating the necessary flexibility to adapt to teams' needs and deadlines;
• You are able to act as a strong internal manager and demonstrate excellent coordination skills in order to meet our clients' deadlines ;
• You are passionate about researching and structuring information;
• You have an attentive eye on the look & feel of all documentation;
• You have exceptional English writing skills;
• You are curious to learn more about IT solutions and organizations;
• You are able to translate IT language into business language in order to adapt to a larger audience.
