Manager/Director Grayling Belgium

Location: BRUSSELS
Reporting to: GRAYLING BRUSSELS CEO

Grayling Brussels is seeking to bolster its current EU Public Affairs team by hiring an experienced Manager/Director to grow its healthcare and pharmaceutical department.

The role would involve independently overseeing a number of client accounts and their budgets, managing a close-knit team, ensuring client satisfaction, obtaining the desired results for the client’s business, and growing and developing the business area.

He/she should therefore be a senior practitioner, be able to provide detailed EU PA/PR strategic advice to the client, lead client meetings, and manage an account team, as well as coordinate various marketing initiatives and identify new business opportunities. A Manager/Director reports to the Grayling Brussels CEO.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 7-8 years’ experience in the public affairs field, preferably with expertise in health and pharmaceutical policies;
• Excellent overall communication skills including writing, oral, and presentation skills;
• An “EU insider” with a proven track record in lobbying and/or advocacy vis à vis the EU institutions, either in consultancy or “in-house”;
• Native or near-native English; fluency in other EU languages also desirable;
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and team-building skills; and
• A thorough understanding of European policies and the workings of the EU institutions.
