Application Administrator Traceability / ERP

UTZ CERTIFIED has developed a new web based traceability infrastructure called Octopus, enabling commodity industries to show transparency and give insight in the different levels of sustainability throughout the supply chain.

You will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and improving upon this system. You will support the project manager in developing new functionality, generating management reports, and providing excellent support to key stakeholders. Your excellent communication skills will assist you in maintaining, improving, and presenting training materials to internal and external users of the traceability system.

Good analytical skills and knowledge of business processes enable you to rapidly build up functional expertise. Your professional focus, service oriented attitude and interpersonal skills smoothen effective communication and implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Functional administration of ERP application & database
• Functional design for application enhancements
• Supervision and implementation of the development of new functionality
• Creation of operational and management reports
• Support and advise key stakeholders in surrounding departments
• Assist clients to understand support issues and provide troubleshooting assistance in a timely manner
• Facilitate the education and training of users by maintaining and improving comprehensive user documentation and training material.

The Application Administrator reports to the Traceability Manager.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors in one of the following (or equivalent) fields: Information Management, Information Systems, Business IT, Bedrijfskundige Informatica.
• 3+ years of work experience in a similar job function.
• Working knowledge web development technologies (HTML, JSP, PHP, XML / Apache, Tomcat / SQL Databases)
• Comprehensive understanding of information systems best practices.
• Experience with ERP-systems, databases, and reporting tools is required.
• Self-starter, able to function independently and take initiative.
• Analytical, able to conduct and present independent research.
• Flexible and customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Good command of the English language required, Dutch and/or Spanish knowledge a plus.
• Willingness to travel max 4 times per year, valid driver’s license.

Employment is based upon 36 - 40 hours/week. The position is based in Amsterdam and implies regular travel to producing countries. We can only consider candidates who have a work & residency permit for the Netherlands/EU.
