Charity Trustees - Instructus
Instructus is a registered charity working to advance education by promoting training and skills development in business and relevant disciplines. We play a key role in developing qualifications and training based on national standards. Our small group of educational charities includes Skills CFA (the national standard setting organisation for business skills at work and issuing authority for business apprenticeship frameworks) as well as IAM (the longest established management institute in the UK).
We are currently reshaping our charity boards and seek independent Trustees to join CFA and Instructus boards. Your role will be to determine the overall strategic and financial direction of the organisation, monitor business performance, oversee delivery of results and ensure that we are effectively and efficiently managed. You will also see that we meet the highest standards of corporate governance, operate sound social and environmental practices and apply high standards of merit based people management.
We are looking for individuals with entrepreneurial flair, business success and strong commercial acumen. If you currently have strategic experience and responsibilities in high profile businesses and are willing to contribute your time and expertise to drive the development of business education and shape the future of our organisation, we would like to hear from you.
Successful applicant will be required to attend up to six board meetings and one strategic meeting per year – all expenses paid.
To initiate further discussion, please send your CV and a covering letter explaining your entrepreneurial and business background and what you can bring to the organisation, to: recruitment@instructus.org
Closing date: 28 March 2012.
