The Opportunity
Directing the activities that support Monash's key enabling ICT systems, your portfolio includes stewardship of the Applications Solutions, Applications Management, Server and Storage, Desktop Solutions and Cloud Services teams. Your ability to effectively coordinate resources that support the needs of an ambitious investment programme and the operations of Monash's enterprise systems will be key to your success.
This outstanding opportunity will suit contemporary practitioners with a demonstrated record in the delivery of technical solutions and resource planning in a large, complex operational environment. You should be proficient in managing on-going and high-value vendor relationships and competent in the use of ITSM, service design and service delivery.
A genuine desire to effectively service customer requirements and the inherent ability to interpret high-level, guiding principles and successfully translate these into workable solutions will support your claim for the role. Excellent influencing, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, ideally honed in a matrix structure are expected. Postgraduate qualifications in a computing, business or related discipline, and an understanding and interest in higher education and research are desired.
