Your workplace

The Saab EU Affairs & NATO office in Brussels primary role is to work with early alert and actions on civil, military and aeronautics trends, new legislation, policies, budget, research and funding in order for Saab to reach its overall business targets and to contribute to new business opportunities.

We are now looking for a Director to work in the Saab EU Affairs & NATO office in Brussels.

Your role

You will work with the European institutions such as the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Council and the European External Action Service as well as the EDA and the national permanent EU representations.

Your qualifications

You should have an in-depth knowledge of the European institutions, how they work and function. You should further have experience with EU funding (structural funds, research funding, grants etc) as well as a relevant university degree (social sciences, law, economics, engineering or business administration) or a military or background. You should be fluent/mother tongue in Swedish and English, other languages is a benefit.

We assume you have social skills and abilities to interact with people and that you are used to working in a team. You should be persistent, flexible and resistant to stress and your work should be guided by transparency, honesty and loyalty and you should have attention to details.

You will report to the head of Saab EU Affairs & NATO office in Brussels.
