IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, is the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector. IFC Asset Management Company, LLC (AMC), a wholly owned subsidiary of IFC, raises third-party capital and invests it alongside IFC in developing and frontier markets.
AMC currently has $4 billion under management in three funds that respectively invest in commercial banks in developing countries globally, commercial banks in Africa, and growth companies across Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. All investments made by AMC adopt IFC’s Performance Standards and its funds are targeted at institutional investors who are looking to increase their exposure to emerging markets by accessing IFC’s transaction pipeline, investment approach and track-record of superior returns.
AMC will also manage the IFC Global Infrastructure Fund which will invest in infrastructure, natural resources, telecoms and other infrastructure-related sectors in emerging markets throughout the world.
As the most senior investment professional managing the fund, you will be responsible for its overall success and for building and providing leadership to a dedicated team, managing relationships with investors, and creating, managing and exiting a well-balanced investment portfolio with strong risk-adjusted returns.
You will require substantial investing experience and superior management, financial, interpersonal and client skills.
