Senior Advisor, Planning and Operations, Advocacy & Justice for Children (A&JC) World Vision

The Senior Advisor, Planning and Operations, Advocacy & Justice for Children (A&JC) will develop and implement a comprehensive planning and operations framework for WV's global Advocacy & Justice for Children function that ensures that A&JC delivers on its global strategy. You will play a key role within A&JC and report, as ‘Chief of Staff’, through the Senior Director, to the Partnership Leader, A&JC. You will work with leaders across other areas of the global Partnership to integrate A&JC into all key strategy, planning and finance processes in WV, to ensure business objectives are met. As the lead technical expert, you will also provide recommendations to senior leadership on all aspects of organizational innovation and compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive planning and operations framework for global A&JC function
• Create and ensure the successful execution and ongoing operation of a new Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)system for the advocacy targets in the Partnership-wide global strategy
• Represent WV externally in this technical area
• Act as People & Culture lead and Finance lead for global A&JC function
• Integrate A&JC into all key planning, and finance processes across WV, to ensure business objectives are met

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED INCLUDE:
• MBA (Master of Business Administration) or similar
• Very strong technical (business planning) skills(able to take leadership role)
• Three years in a senior planning role, including M&E experience
• Very experienced in financial management
• Experience in INGO sector preferred
• Experience of working in complex, global organisation
