ESA is looking for a (m/f) Accounting Analyst based at ESTEC, ESA’s Space Research and Technology Centre in Noordwijk, The Netherlands.

Key responsibilities include

  • implementation and operation of ESA’s accounting management processes;
  • guaranteeing consistency of cost accounting data with financial accounting data, in particular with regard to Compliance with IPSAS requirements;
  • verification of management cost accounting systems;
  • preparing analytical accounting reports;
  • ensuring the completeness and accuracy of direct and indirect cost allocation in the frame of monthly/yearly accounting closure.

Applicants* for this post are expected to have

  • a university degree in economics or a financial related discipline as well as demonstrated accountant experience with an in-depth knowledge of ISAS requirements;
  • a good knowledge of English and/or French (knowledge of another Member State language is an asset);
  • other important attributes of successful candidates include excellent analytical and communication skills as well as cross-cultural sensitivity to work in an international environment.
