Adjunct Instructor – Recreation Planning

Temporary, part-time teaching position is available for the Spring 2013 semester to teach LA 4573, Recreation Planning. Course content will include active and passive park and recreation design/planning within the context of the community's comprehensive plan.  Additional content will address community wide trails/greenway master planning. Appointment will be January 2, 2013 through May 7, 2013.  Class Schedule: Course meets Tuesday, 2 - 2:50 p.m. (theory) and Thursday, 2 - 4:50 p.m. (theory and lab). Qualifications: Successful candidate must have a knowledge of outdoor recreational planning methodology and knowledge of urban planning as related to park, trail, and open space planning and design. Both teaching and professional experience will be viewed favorably.
