ECLT Foundation Switzerland POLICY AND ADVOCACY OFFICER

The ECLT Foundation is seeking to hire a POLICY AND ADVOCACY OFFICER to work at its headquarters in Carouge, Geneva, Switzerland.

The Policy and Advocacy officer will develop and advance the areas of advocacy, dissemination of best practices, and research at ECLT, in partnership with the Executive Director and the programme staff. The full job description can be found on ECLT’s website.

Qualifications and expertise required: A university degree in a relevant subject is required, graduate studies on international development, child rights, labour, sociology, economics, or business are preferred. Other studies or degrees on policy, advocacy, communications, sustainability, government, or international cooperation are desirable. Experience with communications, campaigns, and building and organization’s on-line presence is very desirable.

Experience: A minimum of 8 years of work in areas of human or social development at national or international environments. Experience representing an organisation within public and private environments and in high level meetings.
Languages: Excellent ability in written English and fluency in spoken English. Fluency in French and knowledge of other languages, particularly those spoken in countries where ECLT operates is an advantage.

Travel: Expected travel to ECLT project countries and to international meetings
