KPMG Advisory Spa, Italy, is seeking for experienced and motivated experts in the area of Private Sector Development, Human Resources Development and Employment strategies in the framework of the EC funded technical assistance for ‘Increasing the Adaptability of Employers and Employees in the Tourism Sector’ to be provided in Turkey. The purpose of this operation is to increase the quality and adaptability of human capital involved in the accommodation and food and beverage enterprises in the tourism sector which have an operation or investment license from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. To that end, training and consultation capacities of social partners, central and local public organisations in the tourism sector will be increased to strengthen the competencies of employees and employers. The consultant will conduct activities to increase adaptability of employees and employers in the tourism sector and training capacity of the service providers and social partners in the tourism sector through various means such as training, awareness-raising campaigns, labour market analysis, voucher programme and a database system.
Different positions have to be filled in and we are seeking from senior (at least 15 years of relevant experiences) to junior (5 years) experts on long and short term assignments. A successful candidate should possess the following General Requirements:
  • University Degree in Management, Economics, Administrative Science, Regional Development, Education, Human Resources management, City/regional planning or equivalent. In the absence of this degree, min. 6 years of working experience in the fields related to Business and Human Resources Management.
  • Fluent command of both written and spoken English
  • Full computer literacy in Ms Office and Internet applications
  • Excellent organisational, communication, analytical and document drafting skills
  • Management or contribution to EU funded projects is an advantage
Specific Professional Experience Required (one or more)
  • Relevant professional experience in the fields of social policy employment, regional development initiatives for specific local area/city/region/country (projects, programs, etc.), education, information technology and training.
  • Previous experience in EU employment, lifelong learning and/or industry policy, preferably in EU candidate countries.
  • Previous experience on provision of technical assistance to nation-wide SME support or representative organisations (such as chambers, confederations, associations, etc.) in fields covered by the EU’s employment and education or lifelong learning policy.
  • Previous experience on training strategy, planning and delivery.
  • Previous experience relating to the development of computerized management information systems, the provision of database management and design/development of web based programming assistance to SME or representative organisations.
  • Knowledge of Turkish would be an advantage.
