The Position
Roshan, an IPS company based in Afghanistan is seeking for a Manager, Enterprise Solutions to work within its Enterprise Solutions Team. The Manager, Enterprise Solutions is responsible for development, execution and lifecycle management of telecom solutions oriented at the business market.

A summary of the Manager, Enterprise Solutions responsibilities and tasks is as follows:
  • Rolls out new enterprise solutions by following a strictly defined execution process

  • Identifies opportunities for new solutions (e.g. Business Suite, PABX Solutions, BlackBerry Solutions, M2M Solutions, Leased Lines Solutions, Data Center, Conferencing System .)

  • Writes and understands functional requirements for technical development/implementation

  • Coordinates tasks between different departments to price and deliver solutions in accordance with the products & solutions roadmap

  • Writes business case, revenue forecast, solutions presentations, market research, marketing communication and customer care briefs, sales training, test plans, functional product specifications, project plan, etc

  • Monitors solution performance and analyzes usage to penetrate deeper into the business segment

  • Meets revenue targets by launching promotions

  • Supports sales with proper tools to close the sale and keep the customer satisfied; understands client needs and supports business sales department to provide the best offer and win the sales pitch

  • Establishes roadmaps and forecasts for a specific business segment based on available data and market trends

  • Understands customer lifecycle and anticipates/recognizes needs

  • Manages and builds vendor relationships

  • Actively participates in team decisions and provides recommendations for improvement

  • Challenges the cross functional team (technology) by effective problem solving techniques

  • Coaches and provides opportunity for local staff and shares knowledge and experience

  • Supports in defining the solution strategy in coordination with Enterprise Solutions Director

  • The Requirements
  • University degree, preferably in engineering with extra focus on telecoms

  • 5+ years of work experience of project/product management, preferably previous telecom experience on both telecom or vendor side

  • Experience as a pre-sales engineer with strong technical background is preferred, understands customer & industry and knows how to respond to customer demands

  • Team player, strong presentation and communication skills

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop and grow people for more challenging tasks

  • Fluency in English, Excellent MS Office skills
