BSR 2013 Internship Program

Position Overview

BSR is seeking a talented student professional enrolled in leading master’s degree programs in business administration or dual business and environmental management/policy degrees to join our Beijing team in 2013. Internship candidates should have a strong interest in working with companies to integrate sustainability into business strategies and further BSR’s mission to create a just and sustainable world.

We are looking for someone who exhibits analytical thinking, curiosity, a passion for sustainability and the qualities of a solutions-driven client advisor. Responsibilities include research, analysis, communications, direct client work, and an opportunity to understand BSR’s unique organizational model. The intern will have daily involvement helping address current business challenges and contribute solutions to some of today’s most important national and global issues.

Responsibilities

* Research & Analysis: Managing and/or conducting primary and secondary research on a broad spectrum of market, stakeholder, and policy issues, and rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis of empirical data.

* Industry experience: Rotation of activities across several industry sectors and issues

* Writing and Communications: Preparing and/or editing written reports and briefs targeted at a business audience and developing and delivering written and oral presentations.

* BSR Strategy: Playing a supporting role in identifying new opportunities and research platforms. Participating in thought leadership and Advisory Services management.

Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor’s degree, strong academic and professional record, and current enrollment in a top-tier MBA or dual MBA and environmental management/policy program.

* Professional Experience: Relevant work experience. Demonstrated success in business strategy and organizational leadership.

* Skills: Exceptional writing, research, communication, presentation, organization, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

* Language: Proficient in oral and written in both English and Chinese.
