Grade 6 English and History

The above position is available from 1 January 2013. Applicants must submit a comprehensive CV and names of three traceable referees.

We seek a dynamic teacher who is a progressive thinker, who has a genuine love for children, is creative and shows initiative.

Applicants must have a recognized four-year teaching diploma or degree, be registered with SACE and have at least five years teaching experience.
The candidates must be able to identify with and support the values of Clifton Preparatory School.
Advanced computer literacy is a requirement and Smart Board experience will be an advantage.
An understanding of learning styles and the ability to work with children in different learning styles will be an advantage
The ability to coach sport in the Intermediate Phase is a requirement.  The ability to coach boys sport would be an advantage.
The position is a residential position.  Accommodation will be provided on the school campus and applicants will be expected to take the occasional weekend duty as part of their responsibilities
