Enabling poor rural people to overcome poverty
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is an international financial institution and a specialized United Nations agency dedicated to eradicating rural poverty and hunger. It does so by financing programmes and projects that increase agricultural productivity and raise rural incomes, and by advocating at the local, national and international level for policies that enable poor rural people to overcome poverty.
IFAD is looking for professionals with strategic vision, a team orientation, proven capacity to generate results, and an understanding of and commitment to development. IFAD is currently seeking to recruit:
Director and Chief of Staff, Office of the President and Vice President (D1/D2): The successful candidate will support the President of IFAD in fulfilling his/her responsibilities and mandate. The Director will provide strategic leadership and management at the highest level of the organization by leading the Office of the President and Vice President. As Chief of Staff, the successful candidate will manage and coordinate relations between the Office of the President and Vice President and the rest of the organization.
