The Position
Roshan, an IPS company based in Afghanistan is seeking for an Intern - Marketing Communications, Consumer Market to work within its Marketing Communications Team. The Intern - Marketing Communications, Consumer Market is to define, plan, and execute brand and communication campaigns aimed at the consumer market to sustain the company's brand equity and market leadership position, as well as to meet the company's short-term and long-term market share and financial objectives.

A summary of the Intern - Marketing Communications, Consumer Market responsibilities and tasks is as follows:
  • Plans and executes brand and tactical marketing communications campaigns across all customer touch points for the consumer market segment to meet the company's short-term and long-term objectives

  • Captures the requirements from 'internal customers' i.e. product management, customer care, sales, and/or regional teams and translate them into an agency brief to define the campaign positioning, implementation and media plan

  • Defines, plans and executes brand and marketing communications campaigns to support business objectives for customer acquisition, consumer loyalty programs, digital media, social media and retail visual merchandising

  • Plans, executes and manages ATL(Above the Line) and BTL (Below the Line) campaigns, including other alignment with public relations/Press releases, internal announcements, call centre briefings, SMS broadcasts, website, and social networking to ensure a cross-functional alignment and a timely delivery campaigns

  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project plans and checklists for all campaigns

  • Defines, coordinates and implements retail visual merchandising materials across all distribution channels

  • Sets KPIs, budgets, and measurements to provide effective campaign tracking evaluation for post-campaign review and proactive recommendations for ongoing development and future campaigns

  • Edits occasional product literature, customer care scripts, IVR (Integrated Voice Response) scripts or other materials to support the launch of the projects
