Control Risks is a global risk consultancy specialising in helping organisations manage political, integrity and security risks in complex and hostile environments. We are looking to recruit a Global Research Director who will drive thought-leadership on geopolitics, global security and macroeconomics. You will consult with Control Risks’ client base across this spectrum, offer compelling insights on global affairs to international media outlets, and represent the business as a speaker at major industry, policy and academic conferences. You will oversee Control Risks’ analysis on a worldwide basis including taking lead responsibility for our annual flagship publication, RiskMap, and provide content oversight of our online subscription services and wider research outputs.
Requirements:
• a significant international publications and/or media profile in geopolitical analysis and substantial experience of working in the corporate sector at a strategic level
• extensive experience of advising senior government and corporate stakeholders on political risk strategy
• experience of managing a team of analysts/consultants to sector leading performance
• strong academic credentials, ideally including peer-reviewed publications in leading political science journals.
