Saudi Aramco is seeking a Head of Private Equity Portfolio to join the Investment Management Department (IMD). The IMD is a part of the Finance Business Line in Saudi Aramco and reports to the Treasury organization. Its objectives are to provide expert financial advice within the employee defined benefit and defined contribution plans of Saudi Aramco from a support perspective.

Successful candidates will be responsible for the ongoing development of the Private Equity program within the employee defined benefit plan of Saudi Aramco. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities and relationship building, manager evaluation, construction of deal terms, manager due diligence and support to governing and managing fiduciaries within the investment decision making framework. It is preferred that the individual is a CFA Charterholder and an MBA is considered an asset.
Minimum Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in private equity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; degree in Finance or related field is preferred.
  • Advanced degree and CFA certification are preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Track and analyze industry trends.
  • Portfolio management of direct and indirect private equity allocations.
  • Ongoing external investment manager due diligence .
  • Lead, develop and mentor a team of analysts.
  • Provide support to decisions in other alternative classes.
  • Provide support to other levels of investment decision making.
  • Report on compliance, performance, risk and attribution.
  • Present to governing and managing fiduciaries.
