Behind the Brands Digital Project Manager

Contract: Temporary 1 year, 3 days per week starting September 2013
Based: Flexible, UK
Salary: Circa £39,000 pro rata

Oxfam is looking for a digital lead to manage and develop the online and mobile parts of our Behind The Brands campaign project. Behind the Brands aims to “change the way the food companies that make your favorite brands do business” – it’s.part of GROW – Oxfam’s priority global campaign in over fifty countries to secure just and lasting solutions to hunger by securing change at global and national levels.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically savvy digital project manager with strategic nous to help deliver and steer Oxfam’s flagship Behind The Brands campaign on web, mobile and via social media. We’re looking for someone who combines an understanding of existing and emerging digital campaigning trends with experience delivering and leading international digital campaigns. The right person will have a record of success at national and global level.

As digital lead, you will provide strategic leadership, oversee the development of effective strategies to achieve campaign objectives, project manage delivery and work closely with retained agencies to continuously improve the campaign. You will link up with our key global allies and partners, and ensure effective communication and consultation with Oxfam staff around the world.

Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in other languages such as French and Spanish will be an advantage.
