About the role:
We are currently seeking a Global Competitive Intelligence (GCI) Advisor for our Corporate Planning Department. The core function of the Corporate Planning organization is to assist the company’s business lines and departments with business planning and strategy formulation, and provide advice on energy markets and outlooks, economic evaluations, oil pricing, macroeconomic outlook, and international policies and regulations. Corporate Planning serves as the subject matter experts on the application of economic principles and assumptions for business issues throughout the company. The GCI Advisor will provide intelligence on various changes in the forces affecting the oil and gas environment (buyers, sellers, new entrants, competitors and alternatives), in addition to any other political and or commercial factors that can or may influence the oil and gas industry.
Duties and Responsibilities: 
Ensure prompt, responsive and insightful value-added Competitive Intelligence (CI) work products to support effective decision making. Help drive CI global leadership within Saudi Aramco though support of the CI vision. Identify and analyze competitive trends and developments, focusing on those of strategic significance to Saudi Aramco. Provide a competitive perspective for potential acquisitions and joint ventures through the generation of strategic options. Provide a competitive perspective for strategic projects, generally of a cross-business nature, to enable improved decision making. Originate, develop and recommend the implementation of new planning and analytical concepts and techniques to achieve better overall results in management and controls.
Minimum Requirements: 
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Financial Management or a closely related specialty. Proven ability to understand, interpret and communicate the rationale for corporate reporting requirements as related to business plans, manpower budgets, and capital and operating budgets to all levels of management. Proven ability to produce high quality written and verbal reports, in English.
