SENIOR COMMUNITY MANAGER MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA (MENA) MEMBERSHIP TEAM
GLOBAL LEADERSHIP FELLOW
 
You will support the Head of the MENA membership team in developing a strong value proposition for Members of the World Economic Forum.
 
As a Senior Community Manager for the MENA region, your main responsibilities will include: 
• Developing the business membership of the World Economic Forum in the region
• Identifying core areas of interest for the MENA business community and building year-long engagement programmes on those issues, aligned with the Forum’s multistakeholder vision
• Generating cutting-edge knowledge related to the MENA business context in collaboration with colleagues from relevant teams (i.e. Industry, Risk, Competitiveness, Global Agenda Councils, Scenarios, Government outreach) and potential external partners
• Supporting the engagement, management and retention of regional Members
 
In addition, you will: 
• Be part of an entrepreneurial team within a strong business development environment
• Build synergies between the MENA membership team and other relevant teams/initiatives in the Forum
• Demonstrate the level of insight and intellectual maturity necessary to work with board-level executives
• Manage priorities
 
You possess a broad intellectual background and hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business, international relations, public administration or economics. You have three to five years’ work experience in project management and business development, including relevant exposure to the MENA region. You have good knowledge of government, business, culture and geopolitics in the MENA region. You possess strategic and creative skills in thinking, research, writing and presentation. You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). You are fluent in English and, ideally, in Arabic and French.
