Divisional support officer, Programme performance

Programme performance at Christian Aid helps colleagues and partners around the world achieve greater impact for poor communities by making better decisions and learning from what works and what doesn’t. We need you to keep us working as smartly as possible.
Working alongside a global team of specialist advisors, you’ll be responsible for business systems and ways of working that ensure the division operates efficiently and effectively. You will play a key role in supporting communications between staff in the division and across other parts of Christian Aid, especially in our international programmes – helping advisors establish global thematic networks, for example. You’ll handle the administration of strategic initiatives, including programme staff induction and our international innovation fund, and global workshops and events.
You will have relevant administrative and financial experience, including setting up and maintaining business systems and processes, and be able to provide accurate budget monitoring and financial analysis. You will also have project management experience and the ability to prioritise your workload and work to deadlines effectively. You will be systems-oriented with proven IT and information management skills, and the ability to develop and maintain a relevant, accessible and interesting web and intranet presence for the division.
You will have excellent communication skills, with a flair for clearly and accessibly presenting complex processes and ideas. You will enjoy working across cultures in a busy international environment. Above all, you will be a flexible and dynamic team player, who wants to take the opportunities to help us keep getting better.
