Project Summary:
The objective of SIAP-1 is to contribute to good governance in Indonesia by strengthening integrity and accountability in government – principally at the national level. It will do this by supporting governmental and non-governmental efforts to strengthen integrity and accountability. Two major components of SIAP-1 are:

It will do this by supporting governmental and non-governmental efforts to strengthen integrity and accountability. Two major components of SIAP-1 are:
- Supporting efforts by key accountability agencies such as the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Supreme Audit Body (BPK) to strengthen integrity and accountability in government.
- Supporting efforts to strengthen political integrity and accountability by reducing the influence of “money politics.” This will include support for efforts to strengthen fair regulation of political finance and effective oversight and enforcement.

Position Summary:
The position of Office Accountant will be based in Jakarta. He/she will report directly to the Finance, Administration and Human Resources Manager and be responsible for undertaking accounting tasks. This is a one year position, with possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:
- Implement day to day operations of SIAP-1’s accounting activities in Jakarta, including accounts payable, purchasing and accounts receivable by using Quickbooks accounting system.
- Manage the MSI project bank account; prepare currency conversions and prepare online payments for signature by authorized individuals, inform supervisor of impending low bank balance in advance.
- Implement all financial aspects of the SIAP-1 Jakarta office.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate SIAP-1 monthly financial reports to MSI headquarters.
- Prepare and submit SIAP-1’s monthly/annual payroll tax payments and reporting to the GOI tax office in a timely manner.
- Maintain financial records (receipts, vouchers, invoices, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of work experience in Finance and Accounting.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Experience managing accounts in Quickbooks.
- Must have experience working with online bank accounts.
- Must be able to speak English and Indonesian, both written and verbal.
- Must be well organized and able to work independently.
