Responsibilities
The Partnerships Manager is a member of the senior management team, responsible for the Business Development, Quality Assurance, Monitoring and Communications functions. This includes identifying, negotiating and securing business development partnerships as well as embedding best practice on business development and quality assurance processes, tools and systems.  The role also supports the communications objectives of projects and profiling of SNV Indonesia. 
  • Build, maintain and influence a network of (potential) donors, partners and funding opportunities
  • Identify resource mobilization opportunities and ensure effective and efficient proposal submissions, in alignment with the corporate strategies.
  • Training and coaching team in business development and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) compliance
  • Oversee SNV’s internal M&E systems
  • Monitor contract compliance and ensure quality
  • Contribute to developing and implementing organisation-wide priorities
  • Supervise and guide Communication Officer and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer positions
Candidate profile
  • Excellent writing skills and detail oriented
  • Master Degree in international development or equivalent.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience with a proven track record in business development and donor relations
  • Strong networking skills 
  • Strong negotiation skills, leadership and result-oriented
  • Excellent English language skills (Native English speaker is preferred)
  • The right to live and work in Indonesia
  • Computer skills in MS-applications (Word, Excel, Internet, Email)
Duty station: Jakarta
Contract duration: 1 year consultancy contract with the possibility of extension.
Desired start date: As soon as possible.
