Job Description

Closing Date: 15 August 2014 
Purpose of the Role
  • Leading parts or whole projects to scope and deliver business change for IAG Cargo
  • Working cross-functionally across IAG Cargo and the IAG Group to support the development and delivery of the IAG Cargo strategy

Principal Accountabilities

  • Work cross-functionally across the IAG Group to ensure delivery of key business priorities
  • Identify opportunities and gaps in the implementation of key priorities and proactively seek creative solutions to resolve issues
Key Relationships / Interfaces
  • IAG, BA and IB departments (Support Services, Commercial, Operational and Strategy and Business Planning Teams)
  • IAG Cargo Executive Team
  • IAG Cargo Commercial, Head Office and Operational functions
  • External consultancies working for IAG Cargo, IAG, BA or IB
  • Suppliers of specialist services
  • Other airlines and businesses

  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to influence
  • Analytical, problem structuring and strategic thinking skills
  • Proven commercial acumen
  • Flexible, proactive, able to cope with complexity and resilient
  • Good cultural awareness
  • Ability to speak Spanish desirable but not essential
  • At times this role requires high levels of business travel
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level
Experience
  • Experience on working on large complex projects as part of a team
  • Experience of delivering business change projects as part of a team
  • Ability to scope projects and a track record of good project delivery
  • Experience of working cross-functionally and influencing delivery
  • Experience of working with external consultants desirable but not essential
