HR Manager – West Africa
Location: Ougadougou, Burkina Faso
Reports to: HR Manager – Africa
Specific Objectives:
The HR Manager originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will support an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a productive workforce. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the development of processes that support the achievement of the Organization’s business goals.
Key Performance Indicators:
Recruitment and selection
Organizational resource planning with Line managers
Implementation of performance management systems
Organizational development
Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns regarding employees
Employee inductions, development, needs assessment, and training
Implementing all HR company requirements
Recommending policy development and documentation
Employee relations
Implementation of disciplinary procedures
Company employee communication
Compensation and benefits administration
Employee welfare, wellness and health
Employee services and counseling
Criteria – Experience, qualifications and competencies:
• Minimum 10 years experience in Human Resources, with 5 years at Management level.
• A bachelor level tertiary qualification in HR or related degree
• Must be conversant with labour laws across West Africa
• Experience in a regional position is ideal
• Must be fluent in French and business English
