HRD Practitioner: Physical Asset Management

HRD Practitioner: Physical Asset Management


Responsibilities: The incumbent will report to the Group Employee Development Manager and will work closely with SAP PM and Physical Asset Management subject matter experts to align all training and development interventions with best practices. He/she will be tasked with maintaining business processes in training material and assessments, as well as planning, scheduling and presenting SAP modular and Physical Asset Management process training. In addition, he/she will capture all Physical Asset Management-related training on SAP.

Requirements: Candidates must hold an NQF 6 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or HRD plus a Train-the-Trainer or applicable qualification and must be certified as Assessors in order to apply. Four years' experience in plant maintenance and three years in a Planning Department, along with extensive knowledge of computer packages such as Microsoft Office and Projects, are also needed.
MERSETA-qualified Artisans (Electrical/Fitting/Boilermaker/Diesel/Auto-electrical) will be at an advantage. Two years' SAP experience will also stand applicants in good stead. Our ideal person is diligent, precise and disciplined and shows good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
