Junior Unified Communication Engineer ESCAUX

In order to support our accelerating growth, ESCAUX is looking to hire a Junior Unified Communication Engineer.

Your responsibilities
You are part of our Service Team and are responsible for the 2nd level of support of unified communication solutions. You will report to your Service Team Leader on a day to day basis and you are responsible to:

  • Together with the Service Team, you are responsible for maintaining hundreds of Linux servers, across the world.
  • Identify and implement the optimal customer configuration.
  • Resolve customer incidents
  • Install and replace equipment at the customer’s site
  • Document customer solutions and the ESCAUX UC Solution
  • Manage the RMA process
    - Analyse equipment
    - Interact with suppliers
  • Pro-actively make suggestions to enhance the performance of the ESCAUX UC solution
  • You will learn how to provide services to customers in an ITIL environment.

Your profile

  • You want to be part of a new revolution in business communication.
  • You have a Bachelor degree in information technology
  • You have up to 1 year experience and are eager to learn
  • You are used to work in a Linux environment and have a general interest in Open Source software
  • Knowledge of open standards like SIP and related technologies is a plus
  • You are fluent in at least two of the following languages: English, French and Dutch
  • · You're enthusiastic about working in a no-nonsense environment of a fast-growing company
