LECTURER Economics 2 POSTS

Duties: The successful candidate shall be required to lecture and supervise at graduate and undergraduate levels. He/she will be expected to teach Economic Theory and Quantitative Methods, and any two of the following: Public Finance, Labour Economics, Health Economics, Econometrics, Money and Banking, Monetary Economics, Industrial Economics, Financial Economics and International Economics. The candidate will also be expected to perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: Applicants should (i) hold at least a Bachelors Degree in Economics with at least a 2(ii) pass and an overall aggregate of 65% and a Masters Degree in Economics or related discipline. ii) a PhD will be an added advantage. iii) teaching experience at a university or comparable institution and demonstration of effective academic leadership will also be an added advantage. iv) show evidence of engagement in research and service.
