For our MWH office, in La Hulpe (near Waterloo), we have a vacancy for a Recruitment Officer for staffing our international development projects.

Role

As Recruitment Officer, you will be in charge of the recruitment of international expertise for MWH International Development projects in Europe and Africa. You will be responsible of the selection and recruitment of independent consultants in the context of the preparation and implementation of donors funded project (mainly European commission). In this role you will manage all aspects of the recruitment and selection process: definition of job description, sourcing, screening of CV, interviews, financial negotiations.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proven experience in recruitment with relevant university degree or equivalent;
• Fluent in English and French. Any other languages from IPA/ENPI regions would be an asset;
• Proven experience (at least 3 years) in the recruitment of consultants for European Commission technical assistance projects.
• Experience in expert database management and website management
• Will be considered as an asset:
  • Working knowledge of EU and IPA/ENPI in particular;
  • Experience in recruitment of consultants for other international donors (EBRD, ADB, MCA, etc.);
  • A successful experience as EU framework contract manager;
  • Experience in the recruitment of consultants with an engineering background.
