SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER IN ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY

Required Qualifications:
• Basic dental degree (BDS/DDS) recognized for full registration by the Dental Council of Trinidad and Tobago
• MBBS recognized by the Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago and must be qualified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, such as FDSRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons England/American Board of Oral Surgeons

Special Expertise:
• Considerable experience in didactic and clinical teaching of the specialty for undergraduate students of dentistry
• To be able to manage acute oral and maxillofacial surgery emergencies, medically compromised patients, orofacial trauma surgery, cancer and other oral oncology surgery, a variety of routine orofacial and gnathic surgery and respond to on call oral and maxillofacial surgery

Special Responsibilities:
The incumbent will also provide the specialist services as a honorary consultant to the North Central Regional Health Authority, administrative duties and coordinate the Human Disease Course for DDS students.

• Command of spoken and written English
