Eligibility:
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
-be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or hold a valid study visa
-be a currently enrolled or new student intending to undertake a Master by research degree commencing full time in Semester 1 2012 at either the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering or the School of Computer Science and Information Technology
-have a first class honours degree or equivalent
-intend to do research related to the project ‘Next Generation Multimedia Interfaces’
Scholarship Open for International Students: No
Scholarship Description: The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering in conjunction with the Smart Services CRC will award one scholarship for a student enrolled in a Master degree by research at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering or the School of Computer Science and Information Technology. This scholarship provides financial assistance whilst you undertake your research project in ‘Next Generation Multimedia Interfaces’.The scholarship pays a yearly stipend of $10,000 with an additional $5000 available for travel, IT and research equipment. It can be used as a top-up for a base Master scholarship (RMIT-based or an external scholarship)
