Deputy Director: Supply Chain Management (8 Posts)
(12-month contract appointments)
Regional Offices: • Northern Cape (Ref. 11/477/CFO)
Package: R434 505 per annum. The successful candidates will be required to sign performance agreements


Requirements: • An appropriate degree/diploma in Commerce, Accounting or Economics or equivalent qualification • 6 years’ working experience in the Supply Chain Management environment, with at least 4 years at management level • Knowledge and understanding of the Procurement Policy Framework Act, BBBEE and PFMA • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management Framework and Asset Management.

Duties: • Manage and maintain regional demand management planning • Establish and maintain the regional supplier database • Ensure the effective functioning of the ad hoc specification committee • Facilitate regional participation in SITA new and existing transversal term contracts • Manage the Regional Supply Chain Management function • Facilitate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting on SCM-related matters and regional procurement statistics • Ensure effective management and control over the safekeeping, utilisation and maintenance of all regional assets, including all leased assets • Assist in the development, implementation of disposal management strategy, policies and procedures • Develop and maintain a regional acquisition, maintenance and disposal plan for assets • Provide effective people management.
