Salary: £25,030 per annum
Location: International Office, Birmingham
Contract: Permanent (subject to salary review)

Requirements: We are currently look for a International Accountant to ensure that the institutional donor reports, claims and submission are accurate and timely received, also that all activities related to the ledger in regards to the institutional donor funding is accurate. There will be regular liaison and engagement with the partners, staff, managers and directors across field offices and in-line with the stakeholders’ requirements and to meet donor compliance.
The post holder will report to the Senior International Accountant and will be responsible for the management of the Finance Officers and Assistant Accountant in the International team. The role will also require the individual to design and develop the initiatives to meet the stakeholder requirements and to plan their own and the work of the Finance Officers. The International Accountant will support responsibility to evaluate, report and capacity build field operations which will involve travel to the field office locations and may including living in basic conditions at least three visits per year.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Accounting/Finance and studying for the final level of ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW qualifications. A good understanding of Microsoft AX and Excel is essential, together with proven experience of working in a financial environment. The individual should have excellent communication skills and be able to support non financial audiences to explain technical or complex financial issues.
