Duties: Successful candidates will be expected to: (i) supervise, coordinate and schedule practice/sections for the specific sports skills; (ii) monitor and supervise the activities and progress of players and participants in the specific sports skills; (iii) assist in recommending team leadership or captaincy for the specific sports; (iv) coordinate coaching programmes and organize sporting activities for the University of Botswana community; (v) coach and prepare the University of Botswana student teams for various sport competitions and tournaments. The candidate must be prepared to work at weekends, including public holidays. Requirements: Candidates should have: (i) a diploma in any educational field and a recognized sports coaching certificate in any of the following: Netball, Softball, Rugby and Basketball; (ii) at least two years coaching experience at a national league. Previous coaching experience at University level as well as the ability to communicate clearly in English and understand group dynamics will be added advantages.
