Policy and Advocacy Manager, Mali

Location: Bamako, Mali

Position Purpose
In the framework of implementing its 2010 – 2015 strategic plan, WaterAid in Mali intends to influence sector policies and strategies to facilitate access to basic WASH services for vulnerable people

The Policy and Advocacy Manager develops and implements policy and practice influencing strategies for the sector performance.

Key responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Head of Programmes & Advocacy, the position holder is responsible for developing and implementing policy and practice influencing strategies, staff, partners and other development stakeholders' capacity building on analysis, networking and advocacy. S/he supports the promotion of rights and access and broad communication of policies to improve access to WASH services for the poor.
