The Professor of Design, Urbanism will be based in the School of Architecture and Design. The successful candidate will be of international standing within the disciplines of urban design and the built environment. This standing will be evident in their creative works and publications and leadership and management of high impact project research and external funding opportunities.
The Professor of Design, Urbanism will work between the School and the Design Hub and would lead projects aligned with the Institute's transdisciplinary and collaborative approach and attract a strong cohort in design.

As one of five new Professorial appointments in Design, together with RMIT's current research leaders with a design focus, you will cement RMIT's position as a globally competitive design research and educational institution.
