This is a Senior Management post reporting to the Regional Director and a member of the Regional Management Team and provides regional strategic leadership in the areas of finance, logistics, information systems and administration.

Oxfam GB is recruiting for the following position, based in Pretoria, South Africa:


Regional Finance and Systems Manager
Three-year fixed-term contract
Salary: R514 642 - R694 701 gross per annum (Ref. INT5044)


Oxfam GB Southern Africa works in different contexts on humanitarian, development and campaigns programmes in 6 countries across the region. The regional finance function ensures capacity in the areas of finance, information systems and logistics across the region, to support scale-up and rapid response to major humanitarian emergencies, campaigns and development programmes.



This is a Senior Management post reporting to the Regional Director and a member of the Regional Management Team and provides regional strategic leadership in the areas of finance, logistics, information systems and administration. You will contribute to the shaping of the Corporate Management Team strategy, be accountable for the implementation of corporate and divisional finance, logistics and information systems strategy and have people management responsibility of the finance team at the regional centre, as well as matrix management of country finance managers across the region.



You will have expertise in strategic financial management and significant exposure to logistics, administration and information systems management. You will be a professionally qualified finance expert with the ability to lead on operations improvement, and drive to lead change in a challenging environment. The ability to influence and support a multicultural team in appreciating financial standards, procedures and controls is also essential, along with excellent communication (fluency - written and verbal - in English) and representation skills.
