International Market Leader Niche Sector Opportunity to work in a large scale donor funded project
The overall objective of the EU-Indonesia Trade Cooperation Facility is to support sustainable economic development in Indonesia.
The project Specific Objective is to strengthen the capacity of government institutions to pursue reform initiatives in selected areas related to the improvement of trade and investment climate in Indonesia.
The programme will have an indirect impact on poverty reduction in the country, as through the improvement of trade and investment climate and the sustainability of economic growth there will be a positive effect in income levels and employment.
The role will be pivotal in the successful implementation of the project.
To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated:
Experience in projects involving technology transfer to developing countries, particularly in Asia
At least 7 years of professional experience in science and technology cooperation matters, gained in a public research institute or private company
Experience in institutional strengthening of public agencies involved in science and technology cooperation
Familiarity with technical topics prioritized by the GoI for scientific and technological development: food, energy, transportation, information and communication, security and defence, health and medicines
Relevant professional experience in Indonesia would be an advantage
Master's Degree or equivalent professional experience in engineering sciences or science and technology policy, security and defense, health and medicines and advance material
Excellent verbal and written command of English; Knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia would be an added advantage
Excellent communication, mobilisation and change management skills
Proven ability to develop solid partnerships with high level officials in order to achieve project results
