R&D IT Solutions is a global organization with responsibility for all IT systems which support the Product Development within SEMC. R&D IT Solutions is a part of Corporate IT. Main locations are Lund, Beijing, Tokyo and Silicon Valley.
We are looking for a Senior Application/Integration Architect who will be responsible for the Integration and System landscape within R&D IT Solution.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in projects as an application or integration architect.
  • Responsible for the integration solutions and architecture within R&D IT Solution making it reusable, transparent, efficient and easy to maintain.
  • Responsible for the integration landscape within R&D IT Solution regarding standardizations and re-use of integration architecture, solutions, competences and resources.
  • Provide expert guidance for the integration strategies, architecture, patterns and technologies both within R&D IT Solutions and for projects.
  • Align R&D IT Solution integration strategies, architecture, patterns and technologies with SEMC enterprise´s integration strategies and guidelines.
  • Responsible for consistent handling and exchange of the master data between/to/from R&D IT Solution applications.
  • Have a technical overview of products/functionality on the market related to integrations
  • Have an active role within the application architecture review board making sure that incoming Corporate IT demands are solved using the best suitable architecture as possible.
  • Drive improvement projects for improving the application and integration landscape.
  • Interact a lot with different functions and roles, such as solution managers, middleware architect, integration architect, application architects from other departments, production and support, data center operations, security, network, developers and testers on technical matters.
  • Assist and support the Solution Manager in solution discussions and for time estimates.
  • Assist and support the AD and AM teams in technical discussions.
  • Create and review functional specifications for application and integration related demands.
  • Review technical specifications for integration related demands.
  • Responsible to setup, structure and maintain integration documentation.
  • Continuously suggest improvements to the system and integration landscape.
  • Participate in evaluation of suppliers and tools for coming projects.
  • Participate in or drive prototyping and proof of concepts.
Authorities
  • Review all functional specifications affecting integrations and/or masterdata within R&D IT Solutions.
  • Accept or reject functional specifications.
  • Accept or reject technical specifications that have been assigned to him/her for review.
  • Address and escalate non conformity from the responsibility areas to management.
  • Approve or reject changes in the system information models.
  • Approve/Reject technical/implementation templates and guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Have a four year university degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science and/or equivalent experience.
  • Have great knowledge within the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Area.
  • Have several years of experience in designing or developing for global scale software applications.
  • Have a broad development background using different programming languages/techniques/tools/platforms.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  • Have strong documentation and presentation skills.
  • The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment.
  • Be a very good team player.
  • Have a good understanding of information modeling
