As a Leasing Consultant in our Retail team, you will be tasked with filling vacancies for a large retail portfolio in Johannesburg South and the Vaal Triangle, which may change from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Matric BSc Property Studies and four years’ letting experience and/or minimum five years’ letting experience in the retail letting field in Gauteng
• Property letting, marketing and sales background
• Knowledge of major retailers and property players
• An understanding of tenant mix and retail performance statistics
• Good administration and numerical skills
• Excellent negotiation communication and people skills
• Ability to work under pressure, after hours and on weekends, when required

ROLE

• Show potential tenants vacant retail space and handle enquiries in this regard
• Liaise with existing and prospective tenants on renewals and new lets, and build relationships with retailers
• Process letting deals and complete the lease process
• Negotiate between tenants and landlords
• Ensure premises are fit for tenant occupation
• Keep abreast of retail trends
• Assist with the relevant aspects of the budgeting process
