Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales and Relationship Management
- Ensures that the processes, structures and systems and resources required to effectively service existing clients and develop new clients are in place and continuously reviewed using SLA’s thereby contributing positively to the efficiency and profitability of CB Products
- View day to day decisions, relationships and operations in terms of the bigger picture, keeping the overall long term strategic objectives of international trade finance and services in mind.
- Establish and maintain critical relationships with stakeholders in the market and with stakeholders in the wider ECOBANK group.
- Has thorough understanding of the strategic business drivers, opportunities, challenges, needs, competition and threats inherent in the environments /business sectors within clients operate.
- Has insight into local and international trends, developments and benchmarks within the financial sector, banking and specifically international Trade products.
- Formulate and continuously review a strategy to pursue clients already dealing with other divisions of ECOBANK but not trade but having trade business.
- Atleast 10 years of Trade Finance.
- Ability to interact and negotiate with the client organization at the global decision making level.
- Customer focused and result oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in relevant languages.
- Trade Skills.
- Good Organisational and time management.
